I had the opportunity through Greater Public Studio to lead the design and illustration of two large-scale murals in South Tampa. Greater Public Studio was contacted by Archway Partners in need of two large murals for Casa Bel Mar Apartments, their new affordable housing apartment complex. Acting as lead designer at GPS, I worked with the team to create and finalize the designs and worked as a part of the painting crew that brought each mural to full scale.

The West-facing wall depicts an overlapping collection of local flora and fauna. The East-facing wall is an abstract composition inspired by stained glass windows and the flowing water of the nearby Bay. The idea for the abstraction of stained glass windows came from the historic Presbyterian church that was previously on the property, which has now been relocated and renovated.
